Emerson Electric purchase Hytork in 1999 adding to Emerson's more than 300 companies and divisions worldwide with annual sales exceeding 14 billion dollars per year.

Hytork actuators feature many innovative and unique design features such as air fail safe valve actuators, rack and pinion valve actuators with corrosion protection, commando valve actuators with polymer impregnated bodies, and water operated valve actuators.
