Valve actuator commissioning is one of the most common field support requests ATSCO receives. Even when actuators are properly specified and assembled, first-time startup in the field often requires calibration adjustments, limit switch setting, torque switch configuration, and control signal verification. Our field support technicians are trained by AUMA, Hytork, and Indelac Controls to perform factory-standard commissioning procedures, ensuring that every actuator in your plant is operating within its design envelope from day one.

Control valve and positioner field support from ATSCO covers installation inspection, positioner calibration, split-range configuration, and control loop performance verification. Properly calibrated positioners are essential for achieving the control valve performance specified in the process design — and miscalibrated or improperly configured positioners are a leading cause of control loop instability and valve wear. Our technicians can diagnose and resolve positioner issues on site, reducing the need for costly valve removal and shop maintenance.

Process instrumentation field support includes flow meter installation and verification, pressure transmitter commissioning and calibration, and level sensor setup.
