Advanced Sealing International (ASI) is a premier manufacturer of mechanical seals, compression packing, and bearing isolators for industrial pump and rotating equipment applications. The company was founded in 1983 by John Hornsby, an engineer with more than 30 years of mechanical seal design experience. ASI is headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where the company designs and manufactures its complete line of sealing products using proprietary designs, the tightest tolerances in the industry, and the finest materials of construction.
ASI's mechanical seals are engineered for a wide range of industrial process pump applications including chemical processing, refining, power generation, pulp and paper, water and wastewater, mining, and general process industries. The company's product offering includes single and double cartridge mounted seals, balanced and unbalanced seal designs, stationary seal arrangements, component seals with multiple stationary seat options, universal application seals, and special application seals engineered for difficult and abrasive services.
ASI specializes in custom mechanical seal design and is well known for tackling difficult sealing applications that off-the-shelf products cannot solve.
