MSP's self-fusing silicone tape is a specially formulated silicone rubber that contains no adhesive — when wrapped, the tape fuses to itself through a cross-linking process to form a permanently bonded, void-free layer that cannot be separated once cured. The tape performs reliably from -65F to +500F, withstands a minimum of 400 volts per mil, and is widely used for emergency pipe and hose leak repair, electrical cable splicing and insulating, bus bar and connector insulation, hose bundling, plumbing repairs, and weatherproofing of outdoor connections in extreme climates.
MSP's silicone tapes are also used to protect industrial assets from moisture intrusion, UV exposure, chemical attack, and corrosion, providing long service life on pipelines, flanges, electrical terminations, and rotating equipment. Custom widths, colors, and private label options are available to meet specific industrial requirements.
