GIE Inc. (Global Industrial Equipment, Inc.) is a leading manufacturer of diaphragm valves, valve actuators, and replacement diaphragms, marketed under the Civa brand. GIE's Civa diaphragm valves are supplied in both weir style and straightway configurations and are widely used throughout the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, steel, mining, water and wastewater, and general process industries. Available sizes range from 1/2 inch through 3 inch threaded or weld end connections, and 1/2 inch through 12 inch flanged end connections, with pressure ratings to 200 psi and temperatures to 340 degrees F. GIE also offers PFA lined ball valves, check valves, basket strainers, and bulls-eye sight flow indicators to round out a complete line of corrosion-resistant flow control products.
GIE's diaphragm valves can be supplied as manual valves with handwheels or fully automated with pneumatic and electric actuators, integrated limit switches, solenoid valves, and positioners for on/off or modulating service. A broad selection of body materials, linings, and diaphragm elastomers makes Civa valves suitable for aggressive chemical, sanitary, and high-purity applications.
