NewCon's knife gate valves are engineered for the toughest abrasive and corrosive slurry services. The molded urethane gate seat takes full advantage of urethane's abrasion resistant properties, allowing the valve to seal time after time regardless of how often it is actuated, achieving zero down-stream leakage. NewCon knife gate valves are widely used in mining, taconite and iron ore processing, mineral processing, coal handling, power generation, pulp and paper, wastewater treatment, sand and aggregate, fly ash, and other heavy industrial slurry applications.
NewCon valves are available with a complete range of actuation options including handwheel, bevel gear, pneumatic cylinder, hydraulic, and electric actuators, and can be supplied for on/off or modulating service. The one piece replaceable urethane liner design dramatically reduces maintenance cost and downtime in severe service applications.
