Max-Seal, Inc. is a full-line manufacturer of high quality butterfly valves and valve automation equipment. Established in 2008 and led by President Martin Gibbons, who brings over 35 years of valve industry experience, Max-Seal operates main manufacturing facilities in Lumberton, North Carolina and Houston, Texas, along with sales offices in Argentina, Chile, and Mexico. The company's focus is to design and manufacture butterfly valves with an emphasis on automation, with features such as ISO mounting pads, extra heavy shafts, and low operating torques that simplify actuator sizing and reduce overall package cost.
Max-Seal butterfly valves are offered in both standard resilient seated and high performance double-offset designs, in wafer and lug body styles, across a wide range of sizes and ANSI pressure classes. Body and trim materials include ductile iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, and high-alloy materials, with a broad selection of seat elastomers and PTFE seats for chemical service. Max-Seal valves are used in many industries including oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, pulp and paper, mining, transportation, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, marine, HVAC, and power generation.
Max-Seal butterfly valves can be supplied bare-stem, with manual handles and gear operators, or fully automated with pneumatic and electric actuators, limit switches, solenoid valves, and positioners for on/off or modulating control, providing a complete butterfly valve and actuation package from a single source.
