Hytork is a world-renowned manufacturer of pneumatic rack and pinion valve actuators. The company has been manufacturing pneumatic actuators since 1972 and is now part of Emerson Automation Solutions, having been acquired by Emerson in 1999. Hytork's pneumatic actuators are capable of operating all types of quarter-turn industrial valves. The flagship Hytork XL (Excel) series rack and pinion actuators are field convertible from double-acting to spring-return service, and are used to automate ball valves, butterfly valves, and plug valves across the process industries. Hytork actuators feature a high-strength LM25 aluminum body, CERAMIGARD corrosion-resistant internal coating, ISO 5211 pinion drive for direct valve mounting, and the patented SAFEKEY system for safe and reliable assembly. Applications include oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, power generation, water and wastewater, pulp and paper, and general industrial process control.
Hytork pneumatic actuators can also be supplied with a complete range of valve automation accessories including solenoid valves, limit switches, positioners, and air filter regulators, allowing seamless integration with plant control systems for both on/off and modulating service.
